Shinju Tray

by 101 Copenhagen

Shinju, the Japanese word for Pearl, is a collection of trays carried on ceramic pearls. Differentiating in size and positioned sporadically, the pearls adds a certain lightness and becomes a jewellery-like detail. The rectangular shape and depth of the tray, makes Shinju ideal for different storage purposes, or as a decorative object with a branch or set of dry flowers.Shinju Tray comes in two sizes and is made from ceramic. The surface is hand glazed in order to achieve a unique surface texture. The colours may vary slightly, due to that it is a handmade product. The tray is not 100% waterproof. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
