As a painter, I aspire to create colourful abstract pieces that stimulate the viewer's senses blurring the line between the outside world and our innermost selves. My creations unfold through an intuitive process where each canvas is a new beginning, an unexpected exploration, a chance and another opportunity to experiment in complete freedom. What emerges is a raw expression of myself.
My colour schemes often include muted, vibrant tones to evoke a brief sensation of nostalgia and playfulness. I use a variety of surfaces when I paint, including French papers, Australian cotton canvas, and raw Belgian linen. For some of my works, I also use texture mediums, oil sticks, watercolours and Indian ink to push my imagination even further
