Inspired by a childhood memory of a magician's illusion, Fabrice Berrux designed the Magic coffee table for Bonaldo to evoke a sense of wonder. The illusion lies in the space between the tabletop and its base—seemingly unsupported, as though floating above the four legs in quiet suspension.
Magic is available in two sizes and in two striking material options. Choose from solid marble for a bold sculptural statement, or a mixed composition of glass or marble with a metal frame for a more contemporary finish. Whichever you select, the interplay between form, material and space creates a visually arresting presence—one that feels both grounded and impossibly light.
Fabrice Berrux
After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon, Fabrice Berrux set up the firm “18 Août” in 1987, creating playful objects which are sold in major museum shops such as the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. In 1991, he founded Dix Heures Dix, a company specialising in the lighting sector. Fabrice Berrux designs for some of the biggest international furniture and design brands. The Panorama sofa, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2018, has been awarded with the Good Design Award.
