Dorian Console is clearly inspired by the model of the Doric column: the essential element in ancient Greek architecture is in fact reinterpreted as the supporting base of this piece of furniture. Made of polyurethane with a brushed finish, the base features the typical grooved pattern. Where the classic capital was once originally located, there is now the thin surface of the top available in wood, ceramic or marble - which highlights the visual contrast between the two parts.
