At the 2025 Salone del Mobile in Milan, Bonaldo introduced a collection that quietly challenges expectations—Contemporary Soul. More than just a new furniture range, it marked a meaningful evolution in the brand’s design language: one that places the emotional resonance of the home at its centre.

Every piece spoke to a philosophy that balances material innovation, timeless forms, and human-centred design. This is furniture that doesn’t shout but settles into a space with quiet confidence—shaping how we live, rest, and connect.

A Refined Vision of Contemporary Living
The 2025 collection brings together leading designers including Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Massimo Castagna, Fabrice Berrux, and Mauro Lipparini. Spanning bedrooms, living areas, and dining spaces, the collection unfolds with clarity and character.

Among the highlights:

• Brik Sofa – A modular system by Martina and Massimo Castagna that nods to 1980s design, offering softness, adaptability, and the freedom to create intimate or expansive layouts.

Flatiron Table & Coffee Table – Sculptural and architectural, Mauro Lipparini’s new designs are inspired by the New York skyline and crafted with versatility in mind.

• Nubo Bed – Softly undulating and cloud-like, Massimo Castagna’s bed becomes a tactile focal point in the bedroom, enhanced by an optional padded boiserie for added architectural depth.

• Avant-Garde Seating Collection – A minimalist yet emotive series by Fabrice Berrux, defined by a signature silhouette that appears to float—merging sculptural simplicity with refined comfort.

• Bull Armchair – Designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, this piece is a poised interplay of strength and softness, with a sculpted three-legged timber base and a cocoon-like, enveloping seat.

This year’s designs reflect a deliberate shift—towards organic forms, tactile surfaces, and a new kind of intimacy in contemporary design. Whether it’s the architectural elegance of the Dogma bookcase or the serene balance of the Phil and Liam sofas, the collection champions a more thoughtful, fluid approach to interior living.

Materiality was at the heart of Bonaldo’s presentation, with each detail reinforcing the brand’s commitment to manufacturing excellence and material experimentation. As Managing Director Alberto Bonaldo shared, “This is a new expression of our vision... a perfect balance between material innovation and a contemporary view of living.”
